About this project
Troya offers modular wall beds and furniture systems with hundreds of possible configurations. As the product catalogue continued to grow, customers found it increasingly difficult to locate compatible products and compare different options. The existing navigation and collection pages were organised around the business structure rather than the customer's decision-making process.
This project focused on redesigning the product discovery experience across the website by restructuring information architecture, navigation, and collection pages to better support how customers naturally shop.
What I redesigned
Reorganised navigation based on customer mental models instead of internal product categories.
Redesigned collection pages with size-based classifications (Queen, Double, King Single) for easier comparison.
Introduced wall-width categorisation to help customers identify compatible wall bed sets based on available space.
Designed sticky category navigation to maintain orientation while browsing long product collections.
Simplified product discovery across the entire shopping journey.
My contribution
I led the UX strategy and information architecture for this project, collaborating with developers to implement the new navigation structure within Shopify. Beyond interface design, I focused on creating a scalable content structure that supports future product expansion while improving both customer experience and business efficiency.
